Ground Plan of the Bratislava Self - Governing Region

From January, 18 to 20, 2012 the Bratislava Self - Governing Region (hereinafter as BSR), organized the three-days marathon of the working meetings in order to discuss the Ground Plan of the BSR region and the transportation Generel with the aim to inform about the proposed variants of the concept of the solution of the BSR ground plan and to gain the conditions to the proposed solutions.

The invitees were all mayors and district administrators who had the possibility to submit the impulses and recommendations to the proposed solutions at the time of its draft version.

During the meeting, in the meeting room, the web application of the survey and analysis of the Ground Plan – Bratislava Self – Governing Body was presented. This application has been processed by stengl a.s.. The application was launched with the aim to make accessible the Ground Plan of the region for the comfortable and qualitative browsing within the graphic data with additional functionality for the user, while the application is available at the www.bratislavskykraj.sk, section Geoportal.

The presented solution was accepted with a very positive feedback from the mayors and administrators working for the ground planning sector. The application addressed the participants of the meetings mainly with its innovative form of the accessibility of the graphic data by means of map services, not having been used before in this field.

For the BSR, the application from stengl a.s. is the bearer pile at constructing the graphic elaborate of the whole concept as well as the magazine Ground Plan of the region.
